Session Information
What is a mobile studio?
I bring my background, lighting and costumes to a suitable venue near you and usually bribe my daughter to help carry the heavy stuff. Sessions are in 1 hour intervals throughout the day. You just need to arrive with your fairy’s hair done and a coffee. The venues are private with no distractions (no noisy shopping centres) and with plenty of free parking. The venue details are provided upon booking.
How does it work?
Your fairy will be posed on my Chromakey backdrop (which is a fancy word for greenscreen) and your background choice will be added digitally after the session. So, there won’t be a 10ft tall owl or firebreathing dragon on site unfortunately. We have an hour to play, so the kids can change costumes and we’ll do different poses so you have a range of options. For fairies 3 years and under, a typical session involves you chasing your fairy or elf as they run laps around the backdrop…...see the video below !
What ages do you photograph?
The sessions are suitable for ages 6mths and up (must be able to sit up steadily by themselves) OR there is an older sibling that can safely hold them. I love doing featuring multiple generations.
What about costumes?
They’re supplied for you! There is a huge range of handmade one of a kind dresses to pick from, woodland elves for little boys and
armour for the older boys.
There’s something for everyone.
Fairy dresses up to 12-14 years.
Skirts and corsets for
Mums/older girls up to size 24.
Elf outfits up to 10yo.
Armour for ages 4+
Mens armour has sadly been retired as it has started to deteriorate.
What about hair and makeup?
I don’t provide hair and makeup services ( I can’t even do my own) but you are welcome to organise your own should you wish.
The best hairstyle are loose curls, soft braids etc (no ponytails please)
Can you remove scratches and bruises?
Yes, I can remove most scratches and bruises, replace lost teeth and fix wobbly bits on Mums!

Then what happens?
Between 5-7 days after your session your inital rough proofs will be ready to view. I'll load your images into a private gallery here on the website and send you the password. We’ll then chat about your favourites until we work out your selections. Together with your input I’ll create something magical for you, and will send you a final proof for approval before they’re sent to print.
Your beautiful artwork is delivered!
Your stunning artpieces will be delivered by courier directly to your door. It’s like Christmas when they arrive! If you’ve ordered framed prints or canvas they’ll be finished and ready to adorn your walls, now just sit back and admire them for many years to come!
